![]() ![]() The main character, Bria, is obsessed with art despite the problems in her past that have caused her to hate it. Not only that, but it makes me want to learn to draw as well. ![]() A lot of travel books I’ve read in the past were good but they weren’t entirely convincing, but with this one, you could tell that Hubbard is a traveller. Reading about Bria’s cross-country adventure and all of the things that she experienced and was able to see sounds so incredibly close to perfection! I would love to experience it all and maybe, because of this book, I’d be convinced to try to one day. ![]() But reading this has made me want to attempt it so much, despite how terrible I know I would result in being. I’ve completed my DofE but the idea of travelling with just a backpack and not really having any plan outside of choosing a direction and walking is frightening. ![]() But I’ve never had the opportunity to travel in the way that Starling and Rowen and, in a way, Bria are able to in Wanderlove. Travelling has always been one of my favourite past times. Unfortunately no, I’m not a Global Vagabond. “ It all began with a stupid question: Are you a Global Vagabond?” Genre: YA | Travel | Romance | Contemporary Publisher: Delacorte Books for Young Readers ![]()
